“O Allah, just as You have made my external features beautiful, make my character beautiful as well.”

This supplication helps remind us to be thankful for Allah’s blessings in our appearance and to also strive for beauty in our character.

Authenticity of the Supplication:
While the supplication itself is authentic, narrations specifically linking it to looking into a mirror are weak. The supplication has been recorded in various collections, such as Musnad Ahmad and Sahih Ibn Hibban, where the commentators have classed it as Sahih.
